Relay wiring for V3 Veggie Pump

Terminal 1(85) Black wire. Goes to ground on both purge and after run boards.

Terminal 2(86) Yellow wire. Power From Temp Switch when temp switch is closed.

Terminal 3(30) Large Red Wire. Power to Veg Pump

Terminal 4 (87A)Green wire to terminal 6 on purge switch and to terminal 2 on purge valve.

Terminal 5.(87) Large red wire to 15 amp fuse on V3 fuse board. Power into relay. Hot when key on or off.

What I believe you did was put power to terminal 1 black wire giving power to the ground side of BOTH purge and after run boards. Burning them out.

The red lights come on when they get power from the key on circuit from the small red wire going to the board harness.

I have the relay and a good board and the wiring diagram at my side as I write this. Hope it clears up how it is wired.

I did get your email but decided to post answer here.

Dave

Thanks for all y'all's help. Turned out to be the brain. I must have fried it when I crossed the wires on the new relay. Now I have a new, larger, solid brain.

Yes I did. Now I can have intelligent conversations with my truck. They won't all be one sided anymore.
