Default In the same boat...

Really scroll through all the links on the homepage. I did the same thing where I fired off my questions, and while they were prompt in calling me back, I had already found all the answers on the site. I even learned a lot of things I had NOT found answers to in discussions with other companies like greasecar, or goldenfuelsystems etc..

I have decided to move forward with my purchase and conversion of an '03 Excursion 6.0 ONLY after finding these guys. As far as I tell, they are the only system that support conversion of the 6.0, which for better or worse, is what I want.

Good luck to you!!!

Hey bigwheel - Always great to welcome a new face to the forum. My ride is also a 2000, 7.3 that I fitted with a V3 from BFT (formerly DFA) three years ago. System has been working great ever since. Look forward to your input and questions here. - Patrick

Default Welcome

Big wheel welcome to the board, great group of guys here with an incredible amount of knowledge about veg and diesels.

I converted my 2002 X with 7.3 in mid march, I've got around 6000 miles on grease and am loving it, best purchase I've made in years. Read up, ask questions and get your v3 ordered now. The rds tanks do take a while to arrive, but they are worth the wait. Good luck!

Welcome to the site! I couldn't begin to tell you how happy I still am that I bought a kit back in 2008. 53k miles on svo later on my 6.0 I'll tell you it's the best money I ever spent.

I'm looking to do the same with my 2000 f250. Love durango, my grandma used to have a house in Ouray.
Let me know when you are looking to get started on your project. If it lines up right, we can pace each other if you're doing your own install.

Welcome to the site. Read, read, and read more through the threads here on BFT. There is plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum. Keep the questions rolling and hopefully you purchase a V3 from Jay. One of the best investments I have made in a long time. Not only do the wife and me have the ability to go wherever we want, but we do it in a 9,700-pound f350 lifted 12 inches. Yes, more economicall than a Prius. I love the people that come up to me and say "your wallet must be broke after you drove here"
They have no idea... Welcome to the forum.
