Do not put it in your d2 tank if it is dyed! You cannot get rid of that red dye for a looong time. Untaxed fuel is a big no no.

Why would Kerosene be red? Cost way more than red fuel and someone did pay taxes on it when it was purchased.

Red diesel is dyed and not taxed.. Your State may dip tanks to check. I believe they do this for commercial vehicles.

Here's a link to a Washington State article from 2002. I believe this still holds true. http://www.landlinemag.com/story.aspx?storyid=41779

This applies in Ontario Canada as well. Red fuel is used as "off road". They have had government people dipping tanks checking for this.

so how does the kerosene burn if it goes in the veggie oil tank, mixed with the veggie oil, or mixed in the d2 tank with the diesel? someone I talked to from here said they believed the kerosene oil was heavier than diesel and WVO so it wouldn't burn right in our systems and recommended performing a viscosity test before I used it to see if it was close to diesel and WVO. I just wanna make sure I could use it as this guy is getting rid of 300 gallons and I dont want a 2500lb paper weight sitting around lol.

I know somebody who runs diesel in the SVO tank. He/she gets it from the Hospital generator tank once a month drain for water.

Filtered in a 55 gallon drum with 1/4th vo in the drum. Water will separate from the diesel. centrifuge the diesel and you're good.

Mixing diesel and VO is no problem.

My comment are just advice for your post. Everyone has their personal opinion. If they want to take a chance getting dipped and the cost of legal consequences that follow, that's a choice you make.

Crap? I hardly think so. You're advising someone to break the law.
