Default filtering/cleaning???

Hey guys I have been lurking on here for quite some time and figured I would introduce my self and start learning more about this stuff. My plan is to get a 6.4/6.7L whenever the kit becomes available. I have some questions about cleaning and filtering...

What do you guys use/recommend for filtering/cleaning and storing?

Thanks,
Tony

This forum is awesome and very helpful.

Welcome Tony!

There is a whole sub-forum dedicated to this exact topic!

I spent the first 8 months of owning my truck just gravity filtering and using "quik-n-dri". Just recently I scored a CF on craigslist. I'm VERY happy with the CF and impressed with how much additional stuff it takes out of my "clean" oil. In terms of storing - I don't have a mega supply like most of the guys here, so I'm just storing in 20 and 15 gallon drums.

Welcome Tony! I see you're in Largo. I'm over near Apollo Beach and Tampa450 (Shawn) is just a few miles from me. Feel free to send me a PM and I'll be happy to show you a couple of different options.

Ya I dont know if you remember me but I was on here a while back right before DFA went bye bye and I believe we emailed back and forth a bit but I got extremely busy and DFA closed and never got the time to meet up with you and see a V3 and your truck.

Ahhhhh, I thought your user name looked familiar. Welcome back! Obviously my offer from two years ago still stands.

Thanks. Hopefully I will be able to find some spare time soon. Are you using a Centrifuge?
