I bent another pushrod and just replaced it. I feel it's from driving light-footed around town. When I put it under a big load heading out of town that's when it bent. I've since put on a Sno Pro water methyl injection on the truck and hopefully that will help clean up the valve stems. And I'm trying to drive it as hard as possible in town.
Also do a good Purge cycle before you shut it off.
I feel this may help as well. I think there's more issues with bending pushrods when running veggie oil trucks. But they also bend on diesel trucks.

It makes a Thump Thump Thump sound. It could be be fairly light or very aggressive. I have found.
Definitely immediately noticeable.

That's the sound of the exhaust leaving through the intake valve.
