Yes. I have checked prescreen multiple times.

I performed the test of removing inlet VO line at tank and I removed the purge too. I checked the plastic pickup straw on pick-up line and it had nothing plugging it.

Upon starting truck, at up to temp (but no green), I put in manual green and I get no suction. However, oddly, when truck is not running but key-ignition on, the pick-up VO line sucks, buts light not green. When I click to manual green with keyed-ignition it seems to actually blow! (and I did loosen Donaldson filter to prime then snugged back tight once it was flowing out from filter when pump was sucking).

I turned up the pump 1/4 turn to increase pressure but that didn't do anything.

This crazy behavior is why I think the brain is got some issues.

I'm goin to pull the VO feed line at the 'T' tomorrow to see if I get oil pumping out there....maybe there could be a block at manifold to engine.

Til then....

You really need to check your dc voltage from the pump back to the brain.

pulled VO feedline at T, ignition on (not running), manual green, no flow through line.

Did same thing at the manifold where feedline come out and no flow.

Pump is not running....

I noticed that the large relay box ( I have V3) makes high pitched whining sound but pump is not running. I heard these relay boxes were obsolete. Is that correct and can I remove and direct wire?

Where is this 'relay box'?

Later V3's come with diode between +/- wires near the VO pump.

If you don't have ~12v to the pump, work back up to the controller (SSB or dinosaur 'brain') and figure out why.

Checked for power at brain two ways:

a. Up to temp with auto switch on (but not green). Checking harness plug to pump read 14.5 on both DCV 20 & 200 setting (same setting on truck battery read 12.5)

b. Up to temp, ignition only switch with manual green switch on. Checking harness plug to pump read .2 (the little side mounted pump relay box thingee was buzzing loud during check)

I really not sure what this all means since both numbers are so far off and I'm not electrical guy.

Prior to this I pulled VO feeder side hose at manifold and ran my scorpion pump off a battery and it poured out oil nicely.

See attached pics of scorpion pump relay box thingee, scorpion pump diode, my concussed brain.

Thanks

Bad wording on last post....

Should have read "Checked for power at Scorpion pump harness plug......"

Change the relay in that box.

I see all sorts of issues with that 3rd pic. Get rid of that relay, those have been discontinued.
Time for an SSB

Agreed....Step 1: Rewire first, but how do you do that?...there are five wires going in and two wires going out to TS.

Step 2: New brain just incase that doesn't fix all.

the SSB comes with new wiring to retrofit it to the main harness...or maybe it's all new wiring...cant remember for sure.
