Default converting and old uhaul

I was looking at an older uhaul
well two of em
one from the 80s
and the other a 99
will a vegistroke kit work?

Anything is possible with a thick wallet.

On the E chasis, the 99 could be a little tricky. That one may be mechanical pumped (like an OBS) or electric (like the Super Duty)

unless u get a GOOD used kit and its not a machanical fuel and u can find a good tank, or make one urself.....3k is not going to cut it. maybe a diy.....

i guess i didnt know how much a v3 costs

will have to up the budget, it would be a custom tank

A V3 will work in a '99 - no regulated return/mech fuel pump. Actually, the '98 E-series already had this...

That said, I know Jason C. sold 'bare bones' V3 modules before - no 'kit', just a V3 sans the temp and press switches, etc. You had to do your own wiring and plumbing and of course there would be no 'customer support' since nobody at BFT could know what ya did. Dunno if Jay is interested in that, but I would actually consider doing that to 'upgrade' my F350's DIY junk to a V3 module...
