That's exactly what I need! As a daily driver without much traveling lately the savings is there but not as much as the guys that are traveling cross country. I couldn't be happier with the v3 and the service from you guys.

Not only the cost of the kit but also his filtration setup and sucker tank... those can get pricey. It took me about a year to cover the cost of my V3 and that includes buying my oil.

Well I took advise from James and bought a travel trailer to increase vo useage. This will cause the garage to wait a while but you can't get back your childrens youth. Burnin vo is probably one of the deciding factors going into the TT/camping. Burnin more vo. This update comes at just under 2yrs of the vo lifestyle. Pretty safe to say the investment has been covered!

Bill check out these vegi oil heaters. This is one of my projects I am working on. I have all of the parts and I got them for free with the exception of the dutch oven.

Update--comming up on 3 years real soon. finishing the second year with the TT and the family really enjoys it. Investment in the oil business has paid off. couple more years and the ex will have paid for itself also. If I can convince the wife that she needs an F250 instead of a gasser for her next vehicle we will be all set. The pole barn never happened (yet) but have no regrets with the TT. Everything is getting so friggin expensive and making ends meet gets harder. So glad i'm not filling the ex with diesel all the time..... I would have had to get rid of it in exchange for a fuel sipper. Veggin has become a normal part of life and I scratch my head and wonder why more people don't do it..... I've been really lucky to have a source that puts out just a little more oil than I use a week so I end up with a stockpile for the summer camping/travel season but not much more. I can usually catch up before the hard winter sets in and have enough to get me through till the weather breaks(January and Feb. are not fun times to filter oil). Glad to see that Jay has kept things alive and well for this community and look forward to his innovations. Also glad to see Jason C. make it home safely and hope to see more of him on the forum when he settles in.

nope. until my barn is up I can't see going any further with heat or electric which would go in the barn. When it happens though, a Lister to generate electricity in emergencies or just to power things in the barn will be on the short list.
