Oh, I think you are gonna like this install. Dave's shop is full of cool tools and there is every resource imaginable for parts nearby. This is a blissful way to do a project like this. Dave, his wife and his crew are treating me like royalty here - to say I'm having fun would be an understatement.

I got some work done on the other install while waiting for some parts this morning, then wrapped the coolant lines and fuel lines from V4 to the engine with Armaflex and got the coolant lines tee'd in (brass PEX tee's ) and the fuel line hooked up. Then, I fabbed up the fancy TIH termination for the V4 and bundled/insulated the TIH, V4 return/purge line and coolant return (and the wires for the fuel level sender).

Tomorrow the lines from the Hot Fox/tank to V4 should get finished and hooked up and the wiring can begin. The F650 dash will be sweeet and will have a fuel pressure gauge, fuel level gauge and the V4 switches.

This is a really nice truck. It appears to be in great condition. Looking forward to the big 'reveal'!!

Jason,

What size Armaflex are you using? Are you covering all the lines with one piece? Are you covering the Armaflex with anything? Thanks!

2" Armaflex wrapped around bundle. The section from tank to V4 is covered in vinyl hose.

The TIH terminates at the V4 and the Hot Fox to minimize connections and rubber fuel line.

F650 dash is ready to install. It has V4 switches and SSB on top row and Fuel Level and Fuel Pressure on lower row. This truck will look like it came from Ford with a VO system.

We can prolly get Dave to post some pics tomorow - he was busy upgrading his own ride to a FORD today!!!

Jason is test driving your truck now. Veggie Tank is full. I am working the bill going over trips to the Parker store and Hose Power store etc. Then we take photos. We have a scan gauge hooked up for the test drive so you will be familiar with things like boost..icp pressures..and lots of other cool 7.3 stuff. You have as much time with Jason tomorrow as you need. You will then be the 1st Graduate of VeggieGarage College.

Dave

The first graduates of Veggie Garage College just left. I think they are very happy with their new truck and V4 system. Looks like they have about enough VO to get them to Oklahoma and hopefully they'll get home with more grease from there!

Paul/Cole it was a pleasure meeting you and I hope y'all have a great road trip back to the great white north and enjoy many, many greasy smile-miles after that!!
