Default Diesel fuel tank straps broke, options?

Hey Guys,

I've got a v3 system on my F250. This morning my diesel tank straps broke and the tank got ruined before I could safely pull over.

I know I can run diesel in my V3 tank. I'm questioning a few things though. I think I remember that the stock fuel pump gets disabled when the V3 switch is in Auto mode and the system engages. Does the stock fuel pump still get disabled when I force the V3 on via the manual toggle direction on the switch? I'm trying to prevent myself from burning up the stock fuel pump in case I need it some day in the future.

Any other reasons why it would be a bad idea to use it with this configuration?

Default Both pumps run in manual mode

You could disconnect wires from d2 diesel pump if needed but I would think if you are running d2 pump while running to get parts and stores or salvage yard is sort of close you should be ok

Unplug Pressure switch. That will kill D2 pump. Then run on Manual. Manual On runs both pumps and the pump with the most pressure wins.
