Default attempted assassination. ....

Driving along today minding my own business when a girl texting decided I didn't have enough dents in my truck. We pull over and the 1st thing out of her mouth is "can we not report this to insurance". She tells me she has insurance and her mom is on the way. I walk away to calm down. Mom rolls up. Asks if it's OK if we say she was driving.....

Really that's how today is going to go?

Before I can say anything the daughter jumps in mom's truck and is gone.

Long story longer the kid is 17 on a permit and taking her driving test monday. Parent of the year right here.

Anyway we will see what the body shop says

And you wonder why some kids don't have any values, or accept responsibilities. They learn from their parents.

I wouldn't have said anything until the Police arrived. Both mother and daughter should have a wake up lesson. No license, false reporting, and leaving the scene of an accident.

I'd be worried about the police, and both insurance companies finding out the false reporting on the report. The daughter will probably brag to one of her friends, and then one will tell another and on and on and on.... Hopefully the story doesn't get to a L.E.O.

The LEO got the correct story and the report states the same. Her insurance company is aware of that happened and I've got an apt at a body shop today to see the damages

Sorry I assumed that it went down that way.

I hope the mother gets what she deserves and the daughter has a wake up call.

What happened to teaching kids morals and respect?

Glad you're getting your truck fixed.

Glad their insurance took responsibility.

I had a mustang loose control infront of me. They ended up going backwards perpendicular to traffic. And its my fault because the tow truck driver (that pulled them out of ditch) going opposite direction agreed with other driver that their car was stopped and i could have swerved a 8800lb truck on ice to avoid t-boning them in less than 20 feet.
And it was their second accident that day.

They didnt have insurance, cops did nothing and my insurance rates went up.
