Default Electric Fuel Pump Conversion for 94 to 97 OBS Trucks.

Here is the latest progress on the e fuel kit. Fuel pumps....fuel pressure regulators and fuel filter heads and engine fittings are here. Now to build a bracket for the pump.

This will be the economy version.... The more expensive one will have a water separator pre filter and pretty alumninum fittings and a controller that mimics the Super Duty power for 20 seconds then off if the engine is not started and pump off with oil pressure failure.

What do ya think??

Dave

Man. That's about like a mini skirt, long enough to cover the subject but short enough to keep it interesting.

Are you doing a wire harness also?

That looks nice! Maybe when you are finished, Vandy will buy one and start burning some grease!

man the story is im a cheap ass that never spends money lol

basic story was about 2 years ago i started looking into getting a diesel to have a tow rig, then started looking into bio, ran into clay and his wvo still (totally confused me until i realized he wasnt making bio). i like the idea of the wvo over bio, and started looking in to it. my "rules" to buying a truck was not to spend any money, so it took a min to find someone to trade my k5 for the current rig.

ive had the truck for almost a year and really should have had this converted a long time ago. but as it stands im collecting my efuel stuff, building my oil "still" and then going after my v4 conversion.

now as far as my efuel goes, im ssssssllllllllllooooooooowwwwwwwwwllllllyyyyyyy getting around to it. when i saw you were building one i put it on pause (my excuse anyway) to see what your end product/price was.

in the mean time Flame on clay

If you can supply your own wiring and hose I will sell you what is shown in the photo for $395.00. Just what is in the photo and nothing more.

Now if you want bracket...hoses...wiring I am not ready to price all that yet.

Dave

Dave,

What fitting did you end up using to screw into the bosch pump? was it the 1.0x10mm like I thought out did it turn out to be something different?

Yes it was 10 by 1. My Parker store now carries them for me. The one I got in the photo came from the local speed shop at $11.00 ea.. Parker should be cheaper. I have not picked them up yet. But I did get the harness from my buddies at Strictly Diesel. This one http://www.strictlydiesel.com/p-2804...p-harness.aspx

I hope to look at mounting this stuff this weekend.

Dave
