Default Any oil around Denver?

Planning on heading to Denver this weekend (10/9/15-/10/11/15) to buy a truck that has a V3 kit on it. Looking for up to 80 gallons of oil. Not entirely sure the V3 even works, but if it does it would be awesome to get some WVO for the drive back to Idaho!

I am out of town this weekend. If you are around on Monday, I can help with oil no problem. Did the PO say why he quit burning veg, lack of supply or was something not right in the system?

I'm with you on that. Any system that has not been run regularly will need to be cleaned and most likely some parts changed out. I bought an excursion with V3 that had not been used. I have replaced every component except the lines and controller board because each time i fixed one thing another failed. Thanks to Dave and Jay i'm burning veg again.

Default Oil outside of denver

I am northwest of denver about 15 miles north of idaho springs, i can get some oil spinning if you need it, but need a heads up as I have about 20 gals clean currently, to top off my truck but have about 200 or so gals of oil at home.

MtnOilRig
we should meet up sometime. I think I will be working near you on monday at broadway and orchard. we are doing some phase II drilling at the gas station at that corner

Thanks everyone. It sounds like the kit on this truck hasn't been used for about a year, so I'm not sure if it's going to work or not. The seller has a line on some biodiesel and I asked him to put in 15-20 gallons just to test the kit. If it works I would love to get some WVO for the drive home. PM me your number and I'll let you know if it works and I can use some oil. I'm going to look at the truck tomorrow afternoon, I'll be in the Golden area on Saturday, then driving back to Idaho on Sunday. Thanks!

YoungMT came back from a deployment and only had to change the filter. Here's to optimism!

Ya I would not be worried about the kit sitting. As long as there was a good flush prior, no worries. Even if he didn't let the kit get nice and hot and run it. It will go back to diesel if it needs, right .
