Default Looking for high miles 6.4 Long Bed or Short Bed on Crew Cab

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a high miles +110,000 2010 6.4L with one owner. Think it's possible to find such a truck? I'm looking to convert it to run on WVO....hopefully with the new BFT kit if and when it comes out .
I've seen a few up here in Canada but would prefer a USA truck from the south (Texas,Florida). I bought my one owner 2002 Excursion with 138,000 miles and it looked like it just came off the lot. This was in Feb2010. Where should I be looking besides craiglist, ebay, autotrader?

Les

Why a 2010? Probably a lot easier to find an 08 with 100+K. I know of one for sale right now on powerstrokenation...

How much are you looking to spend? That would help a lot...

Trucks are cheap in TX right now.

That has 110,000 on it... price still seems high to me with those miles...

Here's one with 90k for 26k..... http://powerstrokenation.com/forums/...d.php?t=110450

I need a 2010 for my work. I can't drive anything less than a couple years old, otherwise the 08 would be a no-brainer. I'd love to find a 2010 for ~29-32 $$$.

Clay,

Nice to hear things are moving along

Keep an eye on the main powerstroke forums...

www.powerstroke.org
www.powerstrokenation.com
www.powerstrokearmy.com

The army is fairly new, so a lot of the stuff on there is also on the nation already... just a heads up.

Going to be quite the challenge finding a truck that is only 1 or 2 years old with 100k on it already, and for that price none the less.... I've seen some 08's in that price range. Keep an eye out by Texas though, clean trucks ususally (dont have the salt we do) and they're cheaper down there, since there is so many.

Here's a 2010 6.4 CC/LB 350, only 8,300 miles!!! For 36,000.... that's a steal. If I could sell my truck fast enough I'd be all over this...

Trucks are always cheap in TX.. There are A LOT of them there. Ive bought a few trucks from down there including my old F550. Diesel is so much now tho...you really have to add the drive home (or shipping) to the price.

What do you guys think looks better a long or short bed on a crew cab. I could use the extra space on the longer bed. Just wondering which on looks better aesthetically. I've only see short beds in person. On the older generation I find the long bed suits the crew cab. Your thoughts guys
