The Redline is a SBC-based pump.

It will pump some really thick oil if you have enough motor to spin it!! It is simple to build one of these and I have a friend who mounted one under a 3.5HP push mower (instead of the blade...) and it moves 12gpm no problem.

Ya I almost picked up a free honda powerwasher that ran but pump failed. Got there 10 minutes late. I was going to mount it to that.

Redline pump works great for me.
I also use a small Oberdorfer gear pump hooked to a 1/2hp 120VAC motor. It also works really well.

I found my oberdofer not very usefull. Its 2gpm and doesnt have enough suction for 5 feet of 30 deg clear oil.
If i dont find a use for it within a year im going to sell it.

I have replaced my diaphragm once after a couple thousand gallons. Not a bad life span if you ask me. They're cheap enough so I bought a couple to keep on hand.

Awesome, thank you for that info! I will most definitively look to the Gulper 320 to transfer my oil to the VO tank on long trips.

May I ask where you purchased the replacement diaphragms?
