Default Veggie into diesel tank?

Its been some time since I've had any issues that weren't something minor or that I did stupid. I've been having connection issues with ssb plug recently and just letting them ride and zipped the plug in. Then my pressure sender stared leaking so I replaced it and got a new plug which i installed at same time...wires out of old plug...into new plug. Easy. Crank truck back up. Run Truck. Don't pay attention to fuel gauge. Diesel tank fills up with veggie and spills out of filler neck all over road and trailer. I tried doing some searching on forum and my mind, but couldn't find this issue on veggie stroke. Saw a couple threads about a 3 way valve on rams but nothing on power strokes.

1.If the manifold check valve fails it should allow d2 into veg tank but not the other way around correct?

2. The check valves under hood should be final failsafe to prevent this occurrence?...or so I thought. I installed the relocation kit for these with the oversized check valves a couple years ago just to be on safe side.

Any ideas?

Default Engine check valves

They are really the only thing that keeps Wvo out of d2 tank.

the only thing that keeps veggie oil out of diesel tank is the engine check valves so yeah one or both are bad.

So...New check valves installed and no more veggie into the diesel tank, but diesel still filling the veggie tank when system is off. I had a spare manifold check valve that I swapped out to no avail. Can the purge valve failing cause the same result of diesel filling veggie tank?

Just found my answer...I will disconnect feed and return lines from tank and crank on diesel and that should show which valve has failed if I am correct?

you don't have to do that really. If you get one of those pliers or clamps to pinch the fuel lines at the tank do that. Theres 2 fuel lines at tank, 1 one feed and one return. Pinch of one at a time and see which one will make your diesel fuel pressure rise. This only works though with a fuel pressure gauge.

Default diesel into veg tank

manifold check valve, diesel will come in thru the wvo feed line
purge valve diesel will enter wvo tank thru the return line

sometimes purge valve can just be unplugged at the manifold and it will close. or you could clamp the return line and it will work the same but no purging. i ran my system like this for a while and truck is still ok. I probably did not help the truck...

Default bumping the purge switch

you could also try activating the purge with the switch and few times and see if you can get the purge valve to close by opening and closing it a few times or many times...

Sounds like you have a pretty good grip on the situation. When you figure it out, let us know what happened.
