Default Cleaning Old Tank

Hi all,

I just picked up a used BFT tank that needs a thorough cleaning. Any recommendations on products and/or process?

Slosh a bunch of diesel around inside it. I did that with mine for years and have never had any build up.

Depending on how bad the buildup is id say 1/2 cup of lye mixed in a gallon of water and fill the tank up with hot water and then pour your lye mixture in there. I am pretty sure my tank is horrendous and i bought a 5mm inspection camera with led so i can see just how good or bad my tank is before and after i clean it out this summer.
