Question WVO car recommendations

I love my pickup... been successfully running WVO for several years now thanks to BFT & Dave. However, the wife would like a car, preferably a sedan. Because everything's been running so smoothly with the truck I've convinced her to go veggie with the future car (don't worry, we're keeping the truck!). The only thing is, I don't know which model of car is best for running veg.
In your experience, what makes, models, years of cars run best on WVO?
Thanks :-)

I don't think it would be worth converting a car. Diesel sedans are already fuel efficient, and conversion candidates would be pre-2006. Newer diesels have even better mileage and I'm sure she would appreciate that.

I bought a 2000 Jetta TDI. 50 MPG. I see no need to convert with 50 MPG. But 2000 to 2003 Jetta is a good start. Much better than old Mercedes. Here are a few photos of a VW I did with Veggiegarage Tank. Tank Pump and Filter in Trunk. Tube in hose to engine. https://www.veggiegarage.com/2000-vw-jetta.php?

Nice clean install Dave. Love your work. BTW, the e-fuel + custom SS + BFT setup you sold me for my OBS has been running great as a daily driver for several years now!
Why 2000 - 2003 VW?
...& why are they better than old Mercedes?
Thanks :-)

EPA regulations added more crap to hinder conversions.

Mercedes are SLOW. Transmissions are real hard to get to shift properly. They smell inside like horse hair. The seats are stuffed with horse hair. I could go on and on. An old Mercedes is a hobby. Not good transportation without a LOT of maintenance. VW Jetta TDI 2000 to 2003 has a very basic fuel injection system and a great engine. Starting in 2004 they went to a high pressure system with a High Pressure Pump driven off the cam. This required making the lobes on the can narrower causing cam wear problems. Dave
