Default Manifold Check Valve Removal

Any tips on how to remove a seized manifold check valve? My tank's filling up with diesel but I just can't get the check valve to budge. I don't want to torque it too much for risk of snapping something.

Remove manifold. Place in vice with protection from vice jaws. Then use socket and breaker bar.

use a 1/2" drive socket while its mounted on the truck. When mine failed like 3 years ago I had to do same thing. You can clamp shut or add a gate valve to your veggie return line for the mean time to stop back flow.

Many people have broken the rubber mounts for the manifold by cranking on the check valve with long breaker bar. My reason for removing manifold.

Was able to get it out thanks to help from greaseguy. He was able to just use a breaker bar. Thankfully we didn't have to take the manifold off and the mounts are in good shape.
