Default Got My KIT!!!

hey everyone. I got my kit finally about 2 weeks ago and in the process of verifying the package contents. I noticed that there was no insulation wrap for the hoses. Is this no longer included in the kits?

Also, do I need to use teflon tape on any of the fittings?

Thanks in advance for your help

DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE!!!! Fittings require Loctite. See the manual for specific type.

The kit does not come with the insulation tape, but it's fairly cheap at Home Depot or Lowes.

Jay also includes some loctite in the kits or what is similar, use what is included.

Loctite is in the engine fittings pack for a 7.3L kit. The 6.0 won't have any.

On the 6.0? none. It's all banjo bolt and JIC fittings.

What about using Teflon between the tank aluminumfitting and the brass coolant hose nipple?

Teflon tape for anything coolant is fine... just don't use if for anything that will touch a grease fitting.
