Lots of miles, no tuner or delete package, not a king ranch and no vegistroke.
I'll sell you mine as is with all the upgrades (a new V4 conversion) for a few grand more.

I like the DRW. Helps when towing a loaded boat.

It's a 25 Radon with a single volvo diesel DP. 2-5/16 bumper pull.

Not fun when a Semi with a 45 passes you at 60mph.

Default So far, so Good

Finally, getting myself settled down enough to get back in the game, a little.

First the bad news-

My having the truck and meddling with it may have delayed the release date yet again, as I maybe redirecting Jay yet again on the final prototype design.

Now the good news-

I have had the truck for about 2 months now, and other then the leaky headgasket, all is well. I have solved the dying issue by sucking air with a few minor tweaks, now have a few hundred gallons of oil on hand, and finally getting some cold weather testing in. Since my return from Phoenix the morning temps have been in the low to mid 20's with the Truck and system performing flawlessly.

I have let the truck sit and warm up, as well was a start it and go(digging the heated but warmer) with no perceptable change in performance. The system kicks on right 158 ECT, and I have let it do an automatic purge/shutdown at home, and at work. I want to get some more mileage on it, but so far looking great. The downside is that in it's current setup it is using a lot of diesel during purge- largely by nature of the fuel system being low pressure, high volume. Great for long trips, but will never payoff with a 5 mile commute to work. Once I get more confident in its current setup, I will start messing with the purge times to try to minimize diesel purge useage.

What this means:

Means that there may be hope for the Super Simple installation leaving the OEM fuel bowl in place, and using the plug designed by Clay and Jay. Inversely that means returning to stock for warranty or sale is also going to be equally easy. This will use slightly more fuel for purge, but I think will be an acceptable trade-off for the simplicity and maintaining that Vegistroke subtle elegance under the hood. Ultimately though, It is not up to me.

So again, at this point the system and truck are running perfectly, on oil and diesel, and in the cold. Hopefully I'll have the same thing to say come January when our highs get to what the lows are now.

Great news Jason! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I for one have been looking foward to this. My only concern now is the EPA hammering the DPF delete Manufacturers. I think the the new order of purchase will be: Buy the DPF delete FIRST, Buy the truck, and then buy the 6.4 kit.

Give credit where it's due... it was designed by Clay and Darrell. The only thing I've done for this project is throw $ at the machining.
