The 6.4 turned out to be a really lousy engine. Many are lucky to get 100k miles without engine failure. I do not advise anyone to own one of them...

If I ever get caught up, I will study the 6.7 PSD and develop a VO system for it.

6.4's are amazing if you like power but I say move on to the newer gen motors if your going to pick one lol

They are amazing if you dont mind replacing the injection pump often...as well as other costly repairs.

Not sure I ever mentioned that the guy who bought Twister wound up with a cracked block about 6 months after he bought it!!

Sell High, don't buy again.....

I've also decided my next truck will likely be a 6.7. If my 7.3 ever dies. 510,000 and counting.

Bullet Dodged. Me too. It was a kid who bought it, so I'm sure he drove it like he stole it. Called me up to ask if I had any idea if this was going to happen. Um, nope.
