Default 330 gal tote

I am about to get a 330gal container for the WVO but am concerned condensation (water) will get into it and the oil in my humid climate. How do I combat that? Since my use is limited but have about 250 gals of clean oil, over time more and more water will get in just naturally. Any suggestions?

I am tired of cubes sitting around the garage, want to consolidate.

Draw clean oil off the top, water should settle.

Correct. The water droplets that form from condensation typically fall straight to the bottom of the oil.

If you can avoid temperature swings, you won't get condensation. As the warm air in your tote cools at night, it draws in moist air and that is where the condensation comes from.

That said, I've stored oil in totes for over 10yrs now and often outside and even in direct sunlight. We have broad temp swings here all year and high Rh at night. I've never had a problem.
