Default something weird happened

I have a V3 with analog brain. I don't veg as much anymore due to short distance driving. Have been veggin the past few days and had to adjust my pump to 25psi the other day because I notice when I don't veg the psi have to be adjusted after a while. Anyway adjusted the psi to 25 yesterday but today vegged and the psi gauge was pegged past 30 psi. I just drove it for about 150miles. About half way through I noticed diesel smell, not sure why. Kept driving...psi was >30, temp was OK but I noticed my 60gal WVO tank was almost empty. When I got home the back of the truck was covered in oil and so was the trailer I was pulling. The overflow at the WVO tank had diesel in it, not sure why. I turned off the V3 and diesel was returning back to the WVO tank but the V3 pump was not running. The green light on the system was on even when the switch was in the middle (i.e. OFF). Is it possible that because the V3 pump psi was high that the check valve could have gotten stuck and diesel was being returned to the WVO tank.
Really not sure what is going on here and truthfully not sure what to ask. Has anyone experienced something like this before?

Either the CV in V3 has failed or the return valve/purge valve is malfunctioning.

Are you turning the heat off on VO loop when you aren't burning VO??

No I don't turn off the constantly circulating radiator fluid. I ran it the day before without any issues, just when the psi was >30psi for over an hour that there was an issue. The eng light went on and shortly after I smelled diesel. Its as if something blew. In the morning the truck did not want to start, I think the veg got into the diesel tank. Eventually it started but smoked like hell (white smoke). Lets see what it will start like tomorrow morning. It will be ~40F tonight. My check valve was new, not sure why it would "stick" with clean oil, never cooked in, my source gets never used but expired oil. Anyway looking for any ideas.

Now I have veg in my diesel tank. The V3 system was pumping veg into my diesel tank and when it over flowed it was dumping out and spraying all over underneath and the trailer I was pulling.
Any one? Any suggestions?

remove the 3 way valve that controls return to either tank. Test it with 12v and clean it. Make sure it switches with 12v.

+1 on the 3 way valve. Same thing happened to me a couple years ago.

By 3 way valve are you referring to the purge solenoid?
I have the V3 system and from the online store my purge solenoid does not look like the one you are selling. I am referring to the 3 way valve for the V4 picture.

You will have to contact BFT by email for a V3 Dodge purge valve. It is unique to V3 Dodge only. Not listed for sale on their site. Jay might have 1.
