Default Coolant Lines Set Up

I'm going to be installing my V4 kit this weekend. As such I've been pouring over the instruction manuals, trying to wrap my head around everything. One thing I can't conceptualize is how the coolant lines from the V4 manifold and the tank tie into the stock coolant system. Any advice and/or pictures would be much appreciated.
