I picked Nashville because my wife has never been. It's easier to plan a trip if she's never been before.

Jamie/Horsemover doesn't live far... so I wouldn't mind meeting up with him to start a caravan down to TN. For me, Nashville has more to offer. Would Memphis be worth 6 more hours of driving? With the wife? :P

I"m not going to have time for any sight seeing so local stuff is irrelevant to me. I'm going strickly for the meet. The scenery along the way will be nice but i have seen it befor many times actually and the wife will be asleep the entire time so she don't care about scenery.
Its actually questionable if i will go at all but i will make an effort.

I agree with Clay. If we meet in Memphis I will have a better chance of going if we go all the way to Nashville I would not drag the trailer and would need to take an extra few days off of work. Because we are so scattered across the US this may be near impossible to all get together. Should we map where everyone is and try to determine a better central location? We could use www.buddymapping.com just a thought because the guys out west or the guys in south texas are not chiming in. Just my 2 cents....

Ugh. Milwalkie's Best aka "Beast" - that takes me back to my college days - "Beast Light" was the cheapo beverage of choice... not so friendly on the digestive track as I remember...

These locations would be a haul for me, so I abstained from voting. But,... if you guys did ever arrange something, I would definately give it a try to be there. Nashville is such a great town - tons to do there, spent several weeks and weekends there during my Army days doing some training at Ft. Campbell; never been to Memphis, so can't comment on that.

Looks like the NE region of the country is representing in here.

Letchworth State Park? lol

I also don't want the decision to revolve around "people" who may or may not show. No need to make it convenient for someone who isn't coming.

LSP?
