Default I guess facebook is good for something.

The old facebook page has paid off again. Just picked up a restaurant that said the company that was picking up their oil isn't recycling oil anymore. No warning just stopped picking up for three weeks and then came and took the barrels today.

Wonder if we will start to see more of this due to the lower diesel prices.

Market price is almost rock bottom. Its $1.57-1.87 per gallon. I dont think its been that low since 2007.

Oh hell yeah!! I wonder what all my old sources are getting now. They were offered $1/gal when they left me. I kinda hope they get left like they left me and hafta come crawling back.

I'm looking to get into a popular potato chip plant. Not sure how much oil they use, but they cook 100k lbs of potatoes a day... Sounds like this is a good time to negotiate a contract! Who wants to buy filtered oil (delivered) in BULK??

Good luck, but dont have high hopes.

I haven't personally seen a setup, but i was told about it.
Those chip plants dont dispose of any oil.
They use a large press to force the oil through a media to filter it.
I dont remember all the details but the press is like 15 tons.

Plus the chips are 5-15% oil by weight.

So all they do is filter and and top it off.
