I am planning to mount a centrifuge to the oil inlet on the front of my idi in an effort to polish the motor oil clean. I have seen pictures of the contaminants that are pasted to the inside of the rotor. It's amazing. Anything that makes it to the CF must have passed through the stock oil filter, so it's all bonus. Utilizing Blackstone labs to determine service life is the only way to go.

Anyone else using a CF to clean motor oil while driving?

Anyone have an extra IDI top timing cover lying around?
