    hello all american, my names andrew williams and i am planning a trip to san diego, ca to take my family to disney land and was wondering if i could stop by on the way there and back and fill up on oil?? ill gladly pay 50-75 cents a gallon or w/e else you want, beer or w/e i would greatly appreciate it. ill be bringing a full 50 gallon tank and 2 55 gallon drums and your place would be about the 1200 mile mark so i would need to fill up 150 gallons on the way to san diego and top off on the way home so 200 or so total. thank you very much. my number is 8173136830 if you wanna contact me.

    They disconnected at the veg tank and capped them off.
    I have run the truck with the system off and those same hoses off and nothing comes out of either so i think check valves are good

    Hi. I am having issues with my wifes 06. We had to replace injectors a month ago and the shop said they were the worst they had seen. I run only clean wvo from my business and use Optilube additive. I also will throw in some ATF as well occasionally.
    Anyhow. After new injectors were installed the shop called and asked how to turn off veg system. I told them it was off. They said somehow fuel pressure was dropping and the truck was acting like it wasn't getting fuel for the first 5 or 10 seconds of cranking.
    They disconnected both fuel lines off of veg tank and the problem went away. Upon getting the truck back I reconnected lines and gave it a whirl. Same problem arose.
    Wife wants it gone. Any ideas?

    I just posted a reply to your thread. Congratulations on the baby! I have 2 daughters, 6 years old and a 9 month old. I wouldn't trade it for the world!
    Man I LOVE my Cummins. I have owned 7.3s and 6.0s, nothing beats this 5.9. I do like the 7.3 Fords, but you need to buy an older truck, or put a lot of effort into swapping and worrying about reliability. I bought my truck because I wanted to go WVO. I was gonna buy brand new. I found my truck with 18k on it and Laramie fully loaded mega cab. I am about to turn 80k, with 50k on WVO. Not a single problem. I have had the learning curves of filters and such, but this truck is great. I have been a technician and fabricator all my life, so I keep this truck maintained like a fleet rig. My only regrets are I wish I went dually and manual, just cause that is what I really wanted for personal preference and now I wish I had them. But oh well, it has been amazing. I do caution however, though I like the quad cab look, they are pretty dang small in the back compared to the Ford. Harder for a carseat and all the goods. The mega though, well I don't have to worry about that at all. Haha. I contemplated selling it and looking for a dually, but I would have to get the right amount for it. That's the other thing, you will pay a lot more for a nice 5.9 over a 7.3, especially if you go 2006/2007 and mega cab like me. I think I blue book just under $40k right now. Anyway, any questions ask away. You can text me too. I don't mind and its WAY quicker.

    Hi there All American,
    Hope you are doing well out in California. I am across the country a bit in Tennessee now, but used to live in Ventura and San Diego. I miss it at times, but I do love having trees now! LOL I was wondering if you would be willing to give me a brief intro to your Dodge? I am about to purchase a 4 door due to a new child on the way. I am looking at another 7.3 vs the Dodge. Have you had good luck with your rig? Thanks!
