Hey man, sorry I saw this message yesterday, navigated away from it before answering and couldn't find it again!

Yeah, I saw Jason's posting about the cheap cf. Because I'm north of the border, it usually doesn't make $ sense for me to buy alot in the US and ship it here because of duty/taxes at the border. But it sounded like an awesome deal.

I have a very simple heating/settle barrel then inline filtering setup that I need to upgrade. I had a VW for the last 5 yrs that I ran on WVO using this filtering setup with no problems, but I think the BFT system requires a little cleaner fuel. I've only got less than 100 km on veg and I've already had to clean the prescreen. I'm going to check my fuel pickup in the tank tomorrow and see if thats sucking air that may be causing a pressure problem for me.

I was thinking of doing a HWH tank, then a 1 micron polishing filter, but I'm more leaning now towards a cf. Theres a guy near me selling a WVO designs cf, he's selling it because he's going larger scale and this particular cf won't do the volume/time he wants. So, it looks like I'm heading the cf way.

CF seems to be the preferred method of filtering/dewatering on the BFT forum too.

Did you see the CF for sale that Jason posted from the other forum? Do you think the filtering capabilities of a CF over a filter pack is worth the cost?
